He was the cherished grandfather of Simmaki (Lecturer – University of Jaffna) – Surendran (Accountant), Niroshana (Teacher – Mahajana College, Jaffna) – Maruthasalan (Grama Sevaka – Maviddapuram), Thivigara – Satheeskumaran (Co-operative Hospital – Tellippalai), Irakulon – Akshana (Canada), Iragavan (Canada), Thilaksana (Doctor), Vithiya (University of Colombo), Tharsika (University of Peradeniya), Krithika, Karishna (London), Thivengadan (London), Thatchayani, Ramanan (Sampath Bank – Vavuniya) – Rushani, Mahasakthi (London), Samugi (London), Saiesan (London), and Saambavi (London).
